Passengers with Special Requirements

I. Passenger with service dog

The dog carried by a blind or deaf-mute passenger and with the capability of guiding or hearing aiding after being trained specially could enter the cabin with the approval of Shenzhen Airlines.

1. Notes to Passengers

The disabled passenger over 16 years old could travel by air alone with a service dog.

If the passenger needs to carry a service dog, he/she should purchase a ticket and file the application by calling the service hotline 95361 of Shenzhen Airlines or visiting the ticket office as designated by Shenzhen Airlines no later than 48 hours (including) before flight departure.

The passenger is required to show us the identity certificate and quarantine certificate of his/her service dog when purchasing ticket and checking in, and should arrive at airport with his/her service dog no later than 120 minutes before the scheduled flight departure time.

The passenger is required to put a muzzle on and to tie a traction rope to his/her service dog throughout the flight.

2. Applicable fare

The ticket of the passenger will not be subject to any fare restriction, he/she could enjoy various preferential fares as ordinary passengers. Meanwhile, the passenger doesn't need to pay any extra fee for the service dog he/she carries.

If the passenger agrees to register his/her service dog, we could transport for free the service dog together with its container and foods according to small animal transport regulations, and the weight of the dog would not be counted into the free baggage allowance of the passenger.

3. Onboard services

We shall arrange the passenger with suitable seat as far as possible, and if the passenger requires, we will:

assist him/her in placing or taking any carry-on article;

assist him/her in moving the seat in or out;

assist him/her in meal preparation;

assist him/her in going to and back from toilet.

II. Passengers with Visual or Hearing Impairment

In order to guarantee a smooth travel, we could provide the blind and deaf-mute passengers traveling independently for free with necessary guiding and assistance services. If the passenger needs to book this kind of service, he/she should purchase a ticket and file the application by calling the service hotline 95361 of Shenzhen Airlines or visiting the ticket office as designated by Shenzhen Airlines.

For the consideration of security, the blind or deaf-mute passenger less than 16 years old must be accompanied by passenger(s) over 18 years old (inclusive) and with full capacity for civil conduct.

2. Onboard services

We shall provide convenience to passengers as far as possible, and if the passenger requires, we will:

assist him/her in placing or taking any carry-on article;

assist him/her in moving the seat in or out;

assist him/her in meal preparation;

assist him/her in going to and back from toilet.

III. Passengers with Dysgnosia or in Mental Disorder

For the consideration of security, the passenger with dysgnosia or in mental disorder must be accompanied by passenger(s) over 18 years old (inclusive) and with full capacity for civil conduct.
