Founded in November 1992, Shenzhen Airlines Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as “Shenzhen Airlines”) officially started its operation on September 19, 1993 and mainly engaged in air passenger, freight and mail transport business, with Air China Limited and Shenzhen International Total Logistics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. as its shareholders. By June 2018, Shenzhen Airlines possessed nearly 210 passenger planes of all types in total, such as Boeing 737 and Airbus 330, 320 and 319, as well as operated about 300 domestic and international routes.

Adhering to the safety guideline of “safety first, prevention as a priority and comprehensive governance”, Shenzhen Airlines focuses on establishing a scientific and pragmatic safety management culture, constantly enhances systematic prevention and control capacity, rigorously implements the responsibility system, strives to improve the risk management level and ensures the overall reliability of its safety chain in a bid to offer passengers safe and reliable flight services.

Using safety to lay a foundation and service to build brand, Shenzhen Airlines continuously improves its service quality for creating an excellent enterprise brand. In order to provide passengers with high-quality service throughout the whole journey, it develops sub-brands such as “Shenzhen Airlines Girls”, “King Lounge” and “12 + Member’s Day”, and improves the customer rights system of “Shenzhen Airlines’ PhoenixMiles Frequent Flyer Program”. In addition, it stays committed to creating the brand product system named “Shenzhen Airlines Easy Go” and initiating featured services including airport shuttle, parking service for taking a flight, urban express, flight secretary and Sunshine journey services, offering passengers the most convenient and comfortable flight experience.

As an airline company developing together with the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone, Shenzhen Airlines takes root in Shenzhen, serves the public and builds up various “air corridors” for Shenzhen’s foreign trade and cultural exchanges. Since November 2012 when Shenzhen Airlines officially joined Star Alliance, it started integrating into the international aviation market and embarked on the international footprint with a brand-new look and image. Based on its development plan, by the end of the period of the 13th Five-Year Plan, Shenzhen Airlines will possess a fleet of over 230 passenger planes, 6 of which are wide-body aircraft. In the future development, Shenzhen Airlines will make efforts to become a national airline company with an individual brand and well-known in the Asian-Pacific region, coming as a large-scale network airline company with Shenzhen as the base and its route network covering Asia and intercontinental regions.
